Dell Latitude Price in Bangladesh (2026): 3190, 5400, 7400, 7420 and Every Used Model Compared

Dell Latitude is the business line that corporate IT departments buy by the thousand and replace every three to four years. That replacement cycle is why so many clean, well-built Latitudes reach the used market in Bangladesh — and why Latitude is one of the three brands we sell most at Digital Computer Shop, next to the HP EliteBook and Lenovo ThinkPad.

The range is large, though. We currently stock more than twenty Latitude models, from the 11.6-inch Latitude 3190 touch 2-in-1 for students to the 11th Gen Latitude 7420 and the Snapdragon-powered Latitude 7455. This guide explains how Dell names its models, what changes from one generation to the next, and which Latitude gives the best value at each budget. Every price shown is live from our stock, and every unit is tested and covered by our service warranty.

How to read a Dell Latitude model number

Once you know the code, every Latitude name tells you its class, screen size and age.

• First digit — the series. 3 is the essential range (plastic body, lowest price), 5 is the mainstream business range, and 7 is the premium range with lighter chassis, better screens and more ports.
• Second digit — screen size. 1 means 11.6 inches, 2 means 12.5 inches, 3 means 13.3 inches and 4 means 14 inches.
• Last two digits — the year and processor generation. x480 models (2017) carry 6th or 7th Gen Intel, x490 (2018) and x400 (2019) carry 8th Gen, x410 (2020) carries 10th Gen and x420 (2021) carries 11th Gen.

So a Latitude 7420 is a premium (7) 14-inch (4) laptop from the 2021 generation (20) with an 11th Gen Intel Core chip, while a Latitude 5490 is a mainstream 14-inch model from 2018. Older names such as the E7470 use an “E” prefix that Dell dropped from 2017.

Dell Latitude models at a glance

The best value usually sits in the 8th Gen and newer models. They are officially supported by Windows 11, use fast NVMe SSDs and handle Office, Zoom and dozens of browser tabs without strain.

Dell Latitude 3189 and 3190 — the budget touch 2-in-1

The Latitude 3189 and 3190 are the most searched Dell laptops in Bangladesh for one reason: they are the cheapest way to get a Windows touch-screen laptop that folds into a tablet. Dell designed both for schools, so they have rubber-protected edges, a spill-resistant keyboard and a hinge that rotates a full 360 degrees.

Both run low-power Intel Pentium chips. They are fine for online classes, Google Classroom, Word, YouTube and browsing, but they are not meant for heavy multitasking or editing. The 3190 is the newer and quicker of the two. RAM is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded, so pick the 8GB version of the 3190 if your budget allows — it makes the most noticeable difference in daily use.

Latitude 3000 series — essential business laptops

The 3000 series uses a plastic body and simpler screens than the 5000 and 7000 series, but it carries the same Intel Core processors. That makes it a sensible choice when performance matters more than weight or finish. The 11th Gen Latitude 3420 is the newest model here and the strongest performer in the 3000 range.

Latitude 5000 series — the mainstream workhorse

The 5000 series is what most companies issue to their staff. You get a sturdier chassis than the 3000 series, a Full HD screen on most units, a backlit keyboard on many configurations and two RAM slots, so 8GB can be upgraded to 16GB later. The Latitude 5400 (8th Gen) and 5410 (10th Gen) are the 14-inch picks; the 5300 and 5310 are the 13.3-inch versions for those who carry their laptop every day.

Latitude 7400, 7410 and 7420 — premium 14-inch

The Latitude 7400 was a big redesign: thinner bezels, a smaller footprint than the 7490 and a lid in carbon fibre or aluminium depending on configuration. It runs 8th Gen Intel Core and remains one of the best-value premium business laptops on the used market.

The Latitude 7420 moves to 11th Gen Intel Core with Intel Iris Xe graphics and Thunderbolt 4. Iris Xe is clearly faster than the UHD graphics in 8th and 10th Gen chips, which helps with photo editing, multiple external monitors and video calls. If your budget reaches it, the 7420 is the Latitude we expect to stay useful the longest. The 7410 x360 sits between the two, with a 10th Gen chip and a touch screen that folds back.

Latitude 7490, 7480 and E7470 — premium build at a lower price

These are the older 14-inch premium Latitudes. They have the same quality keyboard and sturdy chassis as the newer 7-series, with wider bezels and older processors. The 7490 with 8th Gen Intel is the one to buy: its quad-core chip is a real step up from the dual-core 6th and 7th Gen chips in the 7480 and E7470, and it is officially supported by Windows 11. Choose the 7480 or E7470 only for basic office work on a tight budget.

Latitude 2-in-1 convertibles — 7390 and 7400

If you want a touch screen with Core i5 or i7 performance rather than the Pentium of the 3190, the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 and 7400 2-in-1 are the answer. Both fold into tent, stand and tablet modes and support pen input. The 7400 2-in-1 has a larger 14-inch screen and comes with 16GB RAM in our stock, which makes it the better choice for teachers, presenters and anyone who annotates documents.

Compact Latitudes for travel — 7300, 7390 and 7270

For bankers, field officers and anyone who carries a laptop all day, the 13.3-inch Latitude 7300 and 7390 offer full business features in a smaller, lighter body. The 7300 is the newer design with thinner bezels. The 12.5-inch 7270 is the smallest Latitude we stock, but its 6th Gen chip suits light work only.

Latitude 7455 — Snapdragon X Elite

The Latitude 7455 is a different kind of Latitude. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, 32GB RAM and a 14-inch QHD+ screen, and it is a Copilot+ PC with on-device AI features. It runs Windows on Arm, so most modern applications — Microsoft Office, browsers, Zoom, Teams — run well, but some older software, games with anti-cheat and certain printer or VPN drivers may not. Check that your essential software supports Windows on Arm before choosing it.

Which generation should you buy?

• 6th and 7th Gen (E7470, 7270, 7480, 5480): dual-core chips, not officially supported by Windows 11. Fine for typing, email and browsing at the lowest price.
• 8th Gen (7490, 7400, 5400, 7390, 7300, 3490): quad-core chips and Windows 11 support. This is the value sweet spot for most buyers.
• 10th Gen (5410, 5310, 7410): slightly faster than 8th Gen and newer designs, at a modest premium.
• 11th Gen (7420, 3420): Iris Xe graphics on the i5 and i7 when two RAM modules are fitted — the biggest real-world jump in this list, plus Thunderbolt 4 on the 7420.

A fast SSD and at least 8GB RAM matter more to daily speed than the processor generation. For multitasking, video calls and many browser tabs, 16GB is worth paying for.

What to check before buying a used Dell Latitude

• Battery health: ask for the battery report and check the capacity in Wh against the original. We test every battery and tell you its condition before you buy.
• Screen: look for dead pixels, bright spots and pressure marks on a white page. Confirm whether the unit is HD or Full HD — on some models both versions exist.
• Hinge and chassis: on 2-in-1 models, rotate the screen through every mode and check the hinge holds firmly.
• Keyboard and touchpad: test every key, the backlight if fitted and both touchpad buttons.
• Ports and charging: test the charger, USB-C, USB-A and HDMI. On the 7420, test Thunderbolt with a dock if you plan to use one.
• BIOS and Computrace lock: ex-corporate units can carry a BIOS password. Every Latitude we sell is checked and unlocked.
• Warranty: buy with a written warranty from a shop you can walk back into — our Dhaka and Brahmanbaria branches service every laptop we sell.
